Hot With The Chance of a Late Storm, 2006
7 x 5 x 1m
The now iconic melted ice cream truck was created as an ode to the Australian summer. The image of the sculpture was featured on every news bulletin in Australia – as well as appearing on the pages of The Times, USA Today and The China Daily. The work has also unwittingly become a poster child of the anti global warming movement.
